This square is useful because of the long 16" beam. Consider it if you can't meet need with the normal 12" beam. The metric marks are a plus!
Good solid construction. Made in the USA (that's important to me). This square is great for marking cuts on 2x12 stock. A normal 12"combo square doesn't reach so you would otherwise have to pull out a big framing square. Far more convenient.
