they work fairly well they keep the weight off lower back and puts it on your shoulders.they need a tie across the front so they won't cut into your arms
Generally appears to be well built and transfer weight to the shoulders, a chest strap would be nice, but most importantly doesn't adjust to fit someone 5'8" like myself (as another person noted), I need about 2" of strap... going to have to return and look for another.
