Swanson has done it again This item allows you to ensure a 100' wall, made of steel studs, is actually plumb Also, you can use this item to balance a level, set a plumb bob, and make all the scribes necessary to notch out your steel studs. Magentic base hold awesome, although the base flange is much larger than the original speed square, which make it difficult to keep in your pouch! Overall worth every penny and then some
Because of the rounded corners, the long leg on this square works great for steel tubing. Also stands up without falling over.
