Very strong, numbers don't rub off I highly recommend. I've had plenty wooden rules I've broken at 15$ a pop.

It's a really good stick ruler for carpentry, you couldn't brake it unless you purposefully tried and the numbers don't get rubbed off from being in your apron, what more could you ask for except a 8' version.
