I have used these Swanson refillable pencils for about three years in all kinds of remodeling projects. They are convenient and easy to use. Never have to spend time looking for your sharpener or knife or stop to sharpen the pencil. Lines are always crisp and clean. Have never had a problem with the leads falling out. It would be nice if Swanson offered some color choices for the lead.

Bought this for my younger grandson's birthday in November, with some other carpenter things. He seemed very pleased, and kind of surprised that I would think to buy carpenter pencils, but my stepfather did some building and I know how important they were to him. I felt pretty proud of myself. (This guy lives in Texas too, so I won't be seeing the pencils...thanks to Amazon, I can get my gifts senf for me, and not worry about them.)
