Customer Reviews
I wouldn't buy this tool again because it's impossible to cut drywall quickly using it. It doesn't slide alone the edge of the drywall very well. And the tool is only useful for making cuts up to 12 inches. Beyond 12 inches the tool doesn't work very well. Additional, I was expecting the tool to be much lighter. Wheels would have solved some of the problems with the tool but the manufacturer forgot to provide them. Save yourself some time and trouble. Hire a license contractor if you have to and buy a real T-square!
The Rock Ripper T-Square makes cutting drywall a snap. It worked so well when ripping drywall sheets that I would never recommend hanging drywall without it. It slides on the long edge of the drywall sheet allowing you to score the sheet lengthwise to cut it. It helped me make very accurate cuts with some of them not even a couple of inches wide. To cut a narrow strip accurately, score both sides of the sheet using the same notch and snap the piece off. It snaps extremely cleanly and hardly needs any filing.
